Dental Insurance Information

The investment for your dental treatment costs will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. We recommend that each policyholder verify their dental insurance coverage with their provider to understand the insurance payment policies before scheduling an appointment.

Facts Regarding Dental Insurance

Dental insurance coverage plays a significant role in helping individuals access dental treatment costs. At Walsh Dental Group, we believe our patients deserve the highest quality dental care. In line with this commitment, we would like to share some important facts about dental insurance with you.

Fact #1: Dental insurance is designed to be a supplement, not a comprehensive pay-all solution.

Fact #2: Many plans indicate coverage of "up to 80% or up to 100%." However, our experience shows that most plans actually cover less than the average fee for dental services. The amount your plan pays often depends on how much your employer contributed to the insurance plan; the lower the employer's contribution, the less you can expect in terms of benefits.

Fact #3: Many insurance companies inform their customers that dental office fees exceed what they allow, rather than acknowledging that their benefits may be low. It's essential to remember that the insurance company establishes its fees based on the plan selected by you and/or your employer, along with their administrative costs and profit margins.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding dental insurance or our services. We aim to ensure you are comfortable navigating these matters. If you have inquiries about our services or fees, we encourage you to consult with us. We also offer to fill out and file insurance forms at no charge as a service to you.

If we accept assignment on your insurance, we consider a 45-day waiting period for payment from your insurance company to be reasonable.

Walsh Dental Group requires payment at the time of service. We accept the following payment methods:

- Cash
